Worship Through Giving
Matthew 6:24 highlights one of the greatest competitors for our commitment to Jesus, money. Giving is an extension of our worship, displaying that He is more important to us than material things (2 Corinthians 9:6-8). Your personal act of worship through your gifts to your local ministry plays a vital role in advancing the kingdom of God!
Tithing
A tithe (or tenth) is the first 10% of a person’s income (before taxes). Tithing is our opportunity return what belongs to Him, and trusting in His sustenance. Our heart posture in our tithing is more important than the tithe itself (Genesis 14:20, Matthew 23:23, Luke 18:12 & Hebrews 7:4).
